Haridwar Taxi Service

There's a reason people have been arriving in Haridwar for thousands of years.

Seven of the holiest places in Hindu mythology. One city. And Haridwar sits right at the top of that list — the point where the Ganga finally touches the plains, where the mountains hand her over to the rest of India. Every pilgrimage to Kedarnath, Badrinath, Rishikesh, or the Char Dham begins here. This is the gateway. Has been for centuries.

If you're starting a spiritual journey in North India, you're almost certainly starting it in Haridwar. And how you travel from here matters.

We Know These Roads. We've Always Known These Roads.

We're not a call center booking you a random cab from three cities away.

We're a registered and authorised travel agent and tour operator for car rental, based right here in Haridwar — not headquartered somewhere else with a local franchise. 15+ Years of experience navigating everything from the narrow lanes near Har Ki Pauri to the mountain roads climbing toward Rishikesh and beyond. We know which ghats get congested during Ganga Aarti. We know the shortcuts that don't exist on Google Maps. We know what the roads look like after a July rainfall and how to plan around it.

That local knowledge isn't a feature. It's the whole thing.

Whether you need a city tour covering Haridwar's temples and ghats, or a full outstation run to the Char Dham, you're riding with people who've done these routes more times than they can count — and care about getting it right every single time.

24/7. No Exceptions. No "We'll Call You Back."

Pilgrims don't run on business hours. Trains arrive at 3am. Flights get delayed until midnight. Families with elderly parents need a car at 5am to make it to Haridwar before the morning aarti. This is just how travel works when you're dealing with one of India's most visited spiritual destinations.

Our taxi and car rental service in Haridwar runs round the clock — Airport Pickups, Railway Station Drops, drops to the nearest city like Delhi Drop by Car, last-minute bookings, early morning departures. Whatever time you land or arrive, we're there.

One call. One confirmed booking. Done and spontaneous pilgrim needs. BizareXpedition™ Emphasise your 24/7 availability prominently.

The Right Car for Every Kind of Journey

Not every trip looks the same. A solo traveler heading to Rishikesh for a weekend needs something very different from a joint family doing the full Char Dham circuit. A corporate group transfer is a different job entirely from a local Haridwar city tour with elderly parents in the back seat. We've seen every kind of traveler come through this city — and we've built our fleet around that reality.

  • Hatchbacks & Sedans For solo travelers and couples who want clean, comfortable, and easy on the budget. Gets the job done without any fuss.

  • Ertiga & Carens MPVs The sweet spot for small families. Enough space for luggage, enough comfort for a long mountain drive, without the bulk of a larger vehicle.

  • Innova Crysta The gold standard for Himalayan road trips for a reason. If you're doing Kedarnath or Badrinath with family and want zero compromises on comfort — this is the answer. Handles mountain roads the way it was built to.

  • Tempo Travellers Large families, friend groups, pilgrim groups — when you need everyone in one vehicle and you're not willing to split the convoy. Available in multiple seating configurations.

  • Force Urbania — Two Ways to Travel This one deserves a proper mention because it's become one of the most asked-for vehicles we operate.

The Urbania comes in two configurations and that distinction matters.

The 1x1 configuration is pure premium. Every passenger gets their own seat on either side of the aisle — no middle seat, no squeezing, no elbow negotiations. Wide seats, generous legroom, and a cabin that genuinely feels like business class on wheels. If you're traveling with a group and comfort is non-negotiable — a wedding party, a corporate offsite, a family that's done the budget trip before and decided never again — this is what you book.

The standard configuration brings the same solid Urbania build and spacious cabin, just with conventional seating. Still significantly more comfortable than a tempo traveller, still a great group vehicle — and easier on the pocket when you're coordinating a large pilgrim group or a mixed budget trip. Same vehicle. Two very different experiences. You pick what fits.

  • Coaches & Buses For the big ones. Religious group tours, corporate travel, school or college trips. We'll put the whole group on one bus and handle the logistics end to end.

Our Fleet at a Glance

Every Car. Every Time. No Exceptions.

We'll be straight with you.

In a city like Haridwar, where hundreds of cabs and rental services compete for the same traveler, the easiest corner to cut is vehicle maintenance. A car that looks fine from the outside, runs okay on flat roads, but hasn't seen a service center in months. It's more common than you'd think — and you usually find out the hard way, somewhere on a mountain road between Joshimath and Badrinath.

That's not how BizareXpedition operates.

In-House Maintenance. Not Outsourced. Not Occasional.

This is something we're genuinely particular about — every vehicle in the BizareXpedition fleet is maintained in-house.

Not handed off to a third-party garage when something feels wrong. Not serviced "when it's due." Done regularly, done properly, done by people who know our vehicles because they work on them every day.

What that means for you in practical terms:

  • Regular scheduled servicing — engine, brakes, tyres, suspension — everything that matters on long mountain routes gets checked before it becomes a problem

  • Clean interiors every single trip — vacuumed, wiped down, fresh. Whether you're the first booking of the day or the last, the cabin should feel the same

  • Roadworthy vehicles — our cars go to Kedarnath routes, Badrinath, high-altitude passes. They have to be in shape. We make sure they are

  • No surprises on the road — the whole point of in-house maintenance is catching problems before you're sitting in them

Trained Chauffeurs. Not Just Drivers.

The vehicle is half the story. The person behind the wheel is the other half.

Every chauffeur at BizareXpedition is trained, and held to a standard of conduct that matches the kind of service we're trying to deliver. Professional, well-behaved, and genuinely familiar with the routes — not someone who's relying on Google Maps to figure out the way to Harshil Valley.

They know when to talk and when to let you sit in silence and watch the mountains go by. They know the roads. They know the stops worth making. And they treat your family the way you'd want them to.

When you book with BizareXpedition, you're not getting a random car dispatched from a pool. You're getting a specific vehicle that we've maintained, driven by someone we've trained and trust.

That's the difference. And on a long Himalayan road trip — it's a difference that matters.

Services Offered

Where Can We Take You?

We've been asked this question thousands of times over the years. The answer is — pretty much anywhere you need to go from Haridwar. The local temple runs at 5 am before the crowds arrive. Full Char Dham circuit spanning two weeks.Corporate delegation transfer for 40 people. One-way drop to Delhi airport at midnight. All of it. That's what we do.

Haridwar Local Sightseeing

Most people think they know Haridwar. They've seen the Ganga Aarti photos. They know Har Ki Pauri.

But there's a version of this city that most visitors miss entirely — because they're either navigating unfamiliar roads alone, stuck in the wrong part of town during peak hours, or simply don't know what else is worth seeing beyond the main ghat.

Our local sightseeing tours fix that.

What a proper Haridwar day looks like:

  • Har Ki Pauri Ghat — Best experienced at dawn before the crowds, or at dusk during Ganga Aarti when the entire ghat goes quiet in the most unexpected way

  • Mansa Devi Temple — Accessible by ropeway. The view from the top on a clear morning is worth the entire trip

  • Chandi Devi Temple — Another ropeway, another perspective, another temple that feels genuinely removed from the city below

  • Maya Devi Temple — One of the Shakti Peethas, sitting right in the middle of the city and somehow still feeling ancient and undisturbed

  • Bharat Mata Mandir — seven floors, each dedicated to a different aspect of India. Nothing quite like it anywhere else

  • Rajaji National Park — For when you want to swap temple bells for jungle sounds. Elephants, leopards, deer — and roads that our drivers know well enough to actually find the wildlife

Outstation Taxi from Haridwar

Haridwar is not just a destination. For most travelers it's a basecamp. And from this basecamp, almost everything worth seeing in Uttarakhand is within reach — if you have the right vehicle and a driver who knows the roads.

Char Dham Yatra Car Rental — Our Most Sacred Service

Some trips are just travel. This one is different. The Char Dham Yatra — Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, Badrinath — is not just four destinations on a map. For most people who undertake it, it's a journey they've been thinking about for years. Sometimes decades. Sometimes it's a promise made to an elderly parent. Sometimes it's a personal reckoning. Sometimes it's simply faith, showing up in the form of a road trip through the highest mountains in the world.

Haridwar is where it begins. Has been for centuries. Every serious Char Dham pilgrimage starts here — at the ghats, with the Ganga, before the roads climb toward the clouds.

And BizareXpedition has been a part of that beginning for more clients than we can count.

The four dhams:

  • Yamunotri — source of the Yamuna. The westernmost dham, and traditionally the first stop. The road to Janki Chatti and the trek beyond it demands a vehicle and a driver who know what they're doing

  • Gangotri — source of the Ganga. High altitude, dramatic landscape, roads that require both experience and respect

  • Kedarnath — the one that stops people mid-sentence when they try to describe it. The trek, the temple, the mountains behind it. Nothing prepares you for it

  • Badrinath — the final dham. Sitting at over 3,100 metres with the Neelkanth peak watching over it. The road there is an experience in itself

What we handle: Every vehicle we deploy for Char Dham is chosen specifically for mountain roads — Innova Crysta for families, Urbania for groups. Every driver on this route knows the roads, the seasonal conditions, the stops worth making, and the ones worth skipping. We handle the vehicle. You focus on the pilgrimage. Custom itineraries from 6 days to 14 days. Clear pricing. Nothing hidden.

Airport & Railway Station Transfers

Trains don't wait. Neither should you.

Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun. Haridwar Railway Station. Rishikesh Railway Station. Whatever time your flight lands or your train pulls in — 3 am, 6 am, midnight — there's a BizareXpedition vehicle confirmed and waiting. No surge pricing because it's an odd hour. No "driver is on the way" messages that mean 40 minutes. Confirmed pickup. On time. Every time. This is one of those services that sounds simple but matters enormously when you're tired, carrying luggage, and arriving in an unfamiliar city in the dark.

Popular Routes from Haridwar

Every journey starts somewhere. For most of North India's most meaningful travel — spiritual, leisure, or simply getting from A to B — that somewhere is Haridwar. Here are the routes we run most often. The ones our drivers know like the back of their hand. The ones where experience behind the wheel genuinely matters.

Haridwar to Rishikesh

Distance: 24 km | Duration: 45 mins – 1 hour | Available: 24/7

The most requested short route we operate. And deceptively simple — it's only 24 kilometres but the road between these two cities carries an enormous amount of traffic, pilgrims, and unpredictability depending on the hour and the season.

Early morning before the highway fills up — it's a smooth 45-minute ride with the Ganga occasionally visible through the trees. Peak afternoon in tourist season — that same stretch can take twice as long in the wrong vehicle with the wrong driver.

We run this route constantly. Solo travelers heading to Rishikesh for yoga retreats. Families doing a quick temple run. Pilgrims connecting onward to the Char Dham routes. Corporate transfers between the two cities.

One-way or round trip. Early morning or midnight. On demand.

Best vehicle: Sedan for solo or couple. Ertiga or Innova Crysta for families

Haridwar to Delhi

Distance: 220 km | Duration: 4.5 – 5.5 hours | Available: 24/7

This is the backbone route. The one that runs every single day in both directions without exception.

Delhi to Haridwar and back again — for pilgrimages, for weekend getaways, for airport connections, for families visiting during Kumbh or Kanwar season. The demand on this route never really drops. It just changes shape depending on the time of year.

The NH58 is a good highway when it cooperates. It doesn't always cooperate. Our drivers know the alternatives, know the traffic patterns coming out of Delhi and heading into it, and know how to make a 220 km drive feel less like a grind and more like the beginning of something.

One-way drops are extremely popular on this route — fly into Delhi, cab straight to Haridwar, skip the train entirely. We do this combination constantly.

Best vehicle: Innova Crysta for families. Sedan for solo business travelers. Urbania for groups

Haridwar to Dehradun & Mussoorie

Distance: Dehradun 54 km / Mussoorie 90 km | Duration: 1.5 – 2.5 hours | Available: 24/7

Two destinations, one natural route. Most people combine them.

Dehradun first — the state capital, practical and underrated, worth more than just a transit stop. Then the road climbs toward Mussoorie and everything changes. The air gets cooler, the trees get denser, and by the time you're on the Mall Road you've completely forgotten you were in the plains two hours ago.

This is one of our most popular leisure routes. Families from Delhi who've done the standard Shimla trip too many times. Couples looking for a quick hill escape. Haridwar pilgrims who want to extend their trip by two days and see something beautiful.

The Mussoorie road in particular requires a driver who respects hill driving — not fast, not reckless, comfortable with the curves. Ours are.

Best vehicle: Innova Crysta. Handles the Mussoorie climb properly and gives the family enough room to enjoy the view on the way up.

Haridwar to Kedarnath & Badrinath

Distance: Kedarnath ~250 km to Gaurikund / Badrinath ~320 km | Duration: 8–10 hours | Available: Seasonal — May to November

These are not regular routes. Treat them differently and plan accordingly.

The road to Kedarnath via Rudraprayag and Gaurikund is one of the most demanding drives in Uttarakhand. Not just in distance — in what it asks of the vehicle and the driver. Mountain passes, narrow stretches, altitude changes, seasonal road conditions that can shift dramatically within a single day. The wrong vehicle breaks down on these roads. The wrong driver makes the wrong call at the wrong moment.

We've been running this route for years. Every vehicle we deploy for Kedarnath and Badrinath is specifically chosen for it — Innova Crysta as the default, Urbania for groups. Every driver on this route has logged enough hours on these roads to know when to push and when to wait.

Kedarnath darshan and back in two days. Badrinath as a standalone or as the final leg of a full Char Dham. We've done every version of this itinerary.

If you're planning this trip — talk to us before you book anything. The vehicle and driver choice on this route matters more than almost anywhere else we operate.

Best vehicle: Innova Crysta. Non-negotiable for these roads.

Haridwar to Nainital & Jim Corbett

Distance: Nainital ~280 km / Corbett ~250 km | Duration: 6–7 hours | Available: 24/7

The eastern arc of Uttarakhand tourism. Completely different from the Char Dham routes — different landscape, different pace, different kind of traveler.

Nainital sits around a lake at 2,000 metres and does something to you immediately upon arrival. The crowds in peak season are real but the place earns it. Families with children, couples, school trips — this route sees all of them and we run it regularly in both directions.

Jim Corbett is a different proposition entirely. The national park attracts serious wildlife travelers — people who've planned their safari slots months in advance and need a reliable vehicle and driver to get them there on time and in good shape for an early morning game drive. Late arrivals and tired passengers don't make for great safari experiences. We know that. Our drivers know that.

The Haridwar to Corbett route also passes through some genuinely beautiful Terai landscape — foothills, river crossings, forest stretches that feel like a different Uttarakhand entirely from the high Himalayas.

Best vehicle: Innova Crysta for families doing Nainital. Same for Corbett — comfortable enough for the distance, capable enough for the forest roads inside the park.

The Person Behind the Wheel Matters as Much as the Vehicle

You can have the best Innova Crysta on the road. If the driver doesn't know what he's doing on a mountain hairpin at altitude — none of it matters. This is something we've never compromised on at BizareXpedition.
