South India Tour Packages
South India Tour Packages
South India tour packages by BizareXpedition are private, made-to-order trips across Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Puducherry. You get your own car and driver, hotels matched to your budget, a houseboat or hill resort where it makes sense, and a day plan built around how fast (or slow) you like to travel.
South India is the part of the country where you can wake up in a tea estate at 1,600 metres, spend the afternoon on a houseboat, and watch the sun set over three seas at Kanyakumari a couple of days later. It's temple towers painted in a thousand colours, coffee drying in the sun in Coorg, a toy train climbing to Ooty, and some of the best food you'll eat anywhere in India. The catch? Distances are long, the two monsoons arrive at different times, and the wrong route order can cost you a full day on the road. That's the part we sort out for you.
Our South India tour packages at a glance:
100% private tours. No group coaches, no fixed departures, no strangers in your car.
Routes planned around the monsoon calendar, which is different on each coast.
Drivers who know the ghat roads, temple timings and good meal stops.
Three comfort tiers: Premium, Luxury and Ultra-Luxury.
One trip coordinator you can call from arrival to departure.
What Do South India Tour Packages Cost?
A private South India tour package with BizareXpedition typically starts from around ₹28,000 per person for a 5-night Kerala trip on our Premium tier, based on two people sharing. Seven- to nine-night trips covering two states usually fall between ₹38,000 and ₹55,000 per person. Luxury and Ultra-Luxury tiers cost more because of the hotels, houseboats and private guiding involved.
Four things decide your final price: how many nights you stay, which hotels you choose, the season, and how many people are travelling. Families and groups of four or more often pay less per head because the car cost is shared. A private premium houseboat night in Alleppey adds more to the bill than a regular hotel night, so we'll show you both options. Christmas, New Year and the Diwali and Onam weeks see the highest hotel rates, so book early for those dates.

Places Worth Knowing a Little Better
Munnar, Kerala: Rolling tea estates at about 1,600 m. The Neelakurinji flower blooms here once every 12 years; the last bloom was 2018, so the next is expected around 2030.
Alleppey and the backwaters: Kerala has a network of lagoons, rivers and canals running roughly 900 km. A night on a private houseboat on Vembanad Lake, India's longest lake, is the highlight of most Kerala trips.
Thekkady (Periyar Tiger Reserve): Boat rides on Periyar Lake for elephants and bison, plus cardamom and pepper plantation walks.
Mysuru Palace: Lit by close to 100,000 bulbs on Sunday evenings and during the 10-day Dasara festival in September–October.
Coorg: Karnataka grows roughly 70% of India's coffee, and Coorg is its heart. Stay on a working estate.
Ooty and the Nilgiri Mountain Railway: The UNESCO-listed toy train climbs 46 km from Mettupalayam to Ooty in about 5 hours, through 16 tunnels and over 250 bridges.
Meenakshi Amman Temple, Madurai: 14 gopurams (gateway towers) covered in painted figures. Go for the evening ceremony.
Brihadeeswarar Temple, Thanjavur: Built by Raja Raja Chola I and completed in 1010 CE, it's over a thousand years old and still in daily worship.
Rameswaram and Kanyakumari: One of the Char Dham pilgrimage sites, and the point where the Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal and Indian Ocean meet.
Hampi: The ruins of the Vijayanagara Empire's capital, spread across a landscape of giant boulders. Give it two full days.

What to Eat in South India
Food in South India changes from state to state. Kerala is known for seafood, appam with stew and the banana-leaf Sadya; Tamil Nadu for idli, dosa, filter coffee and Chettinad curries; and Karnataka for Mysore masala dosa, Mysore pak and Coorg pandi curry. There's plenty for vegetarians everywhere.
How Many Days Are Enough for a South India Tour?
Seven days is ideal for one state, such as a Kerala trip covering Munnar, Thekkady and Alleppey, or a Mysuru–Coorg–Ooty loop. Ten days lets you pair two states, like Kerala with Kanyakumari and Madurai. For a grand tour of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala, plan 13 to 15 days.
