About
Warm herbal oil, unhurried hands, a quiet treatment room inside a palace. Then a slow walk through a fort, a boat on a lake at sunset, and a simple vegetarian dinner. This is wellness, Rajasthan style.
This private 10-day tour pairs classic Ayurvedic spa treatments with some of India’s finest palace hotels. You spend four nights in Jaipur, one in the holy lake town of Pushkar and four by the lakes of Udaipur. Sightseeing is kept short and gentle, so there is always time for a treatment, a swim or simply doing nothing at all. Your own driver and guide stay with you throughout.
What is the Ayurveda & Palace Spa Tour?
It is a private 10-day Ayurvedic spa holiday in Rajasthan, visiting Jaipur, Pushkar and Udaipur. It includes 4, 6 or 8 named Ayurvedic treatments per person (such as abhyanga and shirodhara) at palace-hotel spas, an Ayurvedic consultation where available, light vegetarian breakfast and dinner, and gentle sightseeing. It is a relaxation holiday, not a medical or Panchakarma programme. Prices start from about Rs. 1,36,600 per person (twin share, Premium tier).
This is an Ayurveda tour Rajasthan guests can take as a private journey, and a palace spa tour India travellers can book with named hotels and named treatments. It works as a luxury wellness tour Rajasthan for couples, friends or a solo guest, as an Ayurvedic spa holiday of ten days, and as a palace hotel spa tour with Amber Fort, the City Palace and Lake Pichola kept short and gentle.
Three tiers change the hotels and the number of treatments. Premium uses heritage and comfort hotels with spas, with four treatments per person. Luxury uses Jai Mahal Palace in Jaipur, Gulaab Niwaas Palace in Pushkar and The Leela Palace Udaipur, with six treatments per person. Ultra-Luxury uses Rambagh Palace, the top suite at Gulaab Niwaas Palace and Taj Lake Palace, with eight treatments per person. Cars, guides and day plans are the same in every tier.

What Is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda is India’s traditional system of wellbeing, practised for thousands of years. It sees each person as having a unique balance of energies, called doshas, and uses diet, daily routine, herbal oils and massage to support that balance.
On a spa holiday, Ayurveda is mostly experienced through hands-on treatments with warm, herb-infused oils. They are deeply relaxing, and many guests find them the highlight of their trip to India.
An Honest Word on Panchakarma
Many travellers search for “Ayurveda in India” and come across Panchakarma, the classical Ayurvedic cleansing programme. It is worth knowing the difference.

Is Ayurvedic Massage Right for You?
Ayurvedic oil treatments are gentle, but they are not suitable for everyone. Before booking, please tell us about:
Pregnancy, heart or blood-pressure conditions, or recent surgery.
Skin conditions, or allergies to nuts or oils (some Ayurvedic oils contain sesame, coconut or nut oils).
Any medication you take.
Please check with your doctor that treatments are suitable. You can ask for a plain oil, and you can stop any treatment at any time. After a treatment, drink water, rest for half an hour, and wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little oily.

Ayurveda & Palace Spa Tour - 3-Tier Pricing Summary
Rates are indicative and modelled on BizareXpedition’s current package pricing reference, not a live quote or a contracted rate. Treatment rates are modelled, and spa prices at palace hotels vary by treatment and season. The final price varies within the range with hotel availability on your dates, and is highest around Christmas, New Year and the Pushkar Camel Fair.
WHY BOOK THIS WITH BIZAREXPEDITION
Guests choosing an Ayurvedic spa tour want to know which treatments they will have, who gives them and where. Here is how this plan handles each one.
Treatments named, not implied. Every treatment in the plan is listed by name, duration and day: abhyanga, shirodhara, shirobhyanga, udvartana, swedana and padabhyanga. Nothing is described as detox, cure or therapy.
A straight statement on Panchakarma. A ten-day touring plan is not a Panchakarma course. If you want one, we can arrange a longer stay at a centre run by a qualified Ayurvedic physician, as a separate programme.
Spa details sent before you book. For each hotel we send the spa’s name, treatment menu and, where the spa gives it, the therapists’ training. A consultation with the spa’s Ayurvedic practitioner is booked on Day 2 where one is available.
Easy drives, never a rush. Jaipur to Pushkar is about three hours and Pushkar to Udaipur about five, with the afternoon of Day 5 free. Each of the three bases has a full day with only a treatment and a short outing.
A private car and driver, with bottled water on board. The same driver and car stay with you for all ten days. Sealed bottled water is in the car every day, and the guide keeps a first-aid kit and your hotel addresses in one place.
Direct ground operator. BizareXpedition Services Pvt. Ltd. (CIN U63090UR2016PTC007433), based in Haridwar, runs this route itself, with hotels, car, guides and spa bookings arranged directly, and a 24-hour contact number is shared before you land.

Ayurveda & Palace Spa Tour - Season Adjustments
PRACTICAL NOTES
Scope of the programme.
This is a spa and wellness holiday with Ayurvedic treatments. It is not a medical, therapy or treatment programme, and it is not Panchakarma. Tell the therapist about allergies, pregnancy, skin conditions, recent surgery and medication before each treatment.
Oils and allergies.
Ayurvedic oils are often herbal, and some contain sesame, coconut or nut oils. Tell us about any allergy before you travel, and ask the therapist to use a plain oil if you prefer.
After a treatment.
Drink water, rest for 30 minutes, and avoid strenuous activity and cold drinks. Oil may stay on your skin for some hours, so bring clothes you do not mind marking.
Food.
Meals are vegetarian, freshly cooked and light, with little oil and spice, planned around the treatment days. Vegan and allergy needs are noted at booking. Pushkar is a vegetarian town, and meat and alcohol are not sold near the lake.
Water.
Drink only sealed bottled water, and use it to brush your teeth. Avoid ice and tap water, and eat food that is hot and freshly cooked.
Health before you travel.
See your doctor or a travel clinic four to six weeks before departure about routine and travel vaccinations. BizareXpedition does not give medical advice. Bring your usual medicines.
Pace.
No day includes more than one sightseeing visit and one treatment. The two drives are about three and five hours, with the afternoon of Day 5 free.
Dress and temples.
Light, loose clothing that covers shoulders and knees suits both the weather and the temples. Shoes come off at temples, and Pushkar’s lake has its own rules on dress and photography.
Approaches from strangers.
Near the ghats, forts and markets, people may offer to guide you, sell you something or hand you flowers for a paid blessing. You can say no politely and keep walking. Your guide walks with you.
Visa.
Citizens of many Western countries apply online for an India e-Tourist visa at indianvisaonline.gov.in. Apply well before you fly, and check the current rules and fees for your nationality, since they can change
Tipping.
Tips for the driver, guide, therapists and hotel staff are at your discretion. A common range is Rs.500–1,000 per day for the driver and guide combined, and small change for hotel porters.

Itinerary (Day Wise)
Most days on this trip have a similar shape: some time in a quiet treatment room, a short look at the sights, then the rest of the day to yourself. You start with four nights in Jaipur. You go up to Amber Fort by jeep at an easy pace, and an Ayurvedic consultation helps choose the oils for your treatments. Most afternoons are free for a massage, a swim or a nap. Then it’s three hours on the road to Pushkar for one night by the holy lake, with the evening aarti and soft morning light on the ghats. Your last four nights are in Udaipur: the City Palace, the Garden of the Maidens, a family kitchen where someone walks you through the spices, and a slow boat out on Lake Pichola at sunset. Along the way you’ll have abhyanga, shirodhara and other warm-oil treatments, between four and eight depending on your hotels. It’s a restful holiday, not a medical programme, and that’s the point.
