Itinerary (Day Wise)

The Chardham Yatra by helicopter usually begins from Dehradun, where devotees are briefed before flying to Yamunotri, followed by a short trek or shuttle service to the Yamunotri Temple for darshan. The journey then continues to Gangotri, where pilgrims visit the sacred Gangotri Temple and experience the serene surroundings. From there, the helicopter takes devotees to Kedarnath, where after landing near the shrine, devotees perform darshan at the revered Kedarnath Temple. The final leg of the yatra takes pilgrims to Badrinath, where they take a holy dip at Tapt Kund and seek blessings at the Badrinath Temple. After completing all four dhams, the tour concludes with a return to Dehradun, offering a divine and memorable pilgrimage experience.

Day 1

Arrival Dehradun

This 4 Dham yatra by helicopter tour starts from Dehradun. Once you reach Dehradun our company representative picks you up and drops you to your hotel. After relaxation and refreshment in the Hotel. In the evening the welcome dinner and detailed briefing of Chardham Yatra will be provided. Overnight stay at the Hotel in Dehradun.

Day 2

Yamunotri Ji

05:00 Hrs Check out from Dehradun hotel
06:00 Hrs ETD from Sahastradhara Helidrome
06:30 Hrs ETA at Kharsali Heli-Base

In the morning at 05:00 hrs start the drive from the hotel to Sahastradhara helipad for Kharsali. On arrival at Kharsali, check-in at the hotel, after breakfast around 0900 hrs head toward the Yamunotri temple on Palki. Approximately 05hrs 30mins (roundtrip) time taken for Yamunotri temple. Yamunotri trek is 06 km one-way. On arrival, offer the prayers to Goddess Yamuna Ji and take the blessings of Goddess. After paying homage, return back to Kharsali. Dinner & overnight stay at the hotel.

‘’ Yamunotri is a sacred place as it is an origin place of The River Yamuna.  One of four sacred Chota Char Dham of Uttarakhand. It is located in the north of Uttarkashi district in Uttarakhand, India. The temple was built by Amar Singh Thapa, Gurkha general in 18th century. Later the temple was damaged & renovated by Maharani Guleria of Jaipur in the 19th century. The source of Yamuna The river lies in the Yamunotri Glacier which is at a height of 6,387 metres (20,955 ft) near the Bandarpunch peaks.’’

Day 3

Gangotri Ji

0630 Hrs ETD from Kharsali Heli-Base
0700 Hrs ETA at Harsil Helipad

Checkout at 0530 hrs and departure from Kharsali Heli Base will be by 0630 hrs & the estimated time of arrival at Harsil will be 0700 hrs. On arrival check-in at the hotel. After freshen-up and breakfast, at around 0900 hrs proceed to drive towards Gangotri. Estimated time taken is 4 Hrs (roundtrip) for Darshan of Goddess Ganga. Approx distance is 25 kms from Harsil to Temple and drives time is 50 mins. Dinner & overnight stay at the hotel.

Add-on excursion/sightseeing places: Bagodi Village walk / Mukhwa Village walk / Short trek to Chholmi village / Nature walk from Jhalla & Shiv Temple in Harsil.

‘’ The holy Gangotri temple is located in this sacred town. It is believed that at this place River Ganges descended on the earth after severe penance of King Bhagirathi. The Gangotri Temple was built by the Gurkha general Amar Singh Thapa in early 18th century. The Ganges originates from Gaumakh which is accessible after 19 Kms trek from Gangotri. During winters temple remain inaccessible due to heavy snowfall so the statue of Goddess Ganges is brought down to Mukhba, a small village in Harsil which lies on the way to the Gangotri Shrine.’’

Day 4

Kedarnath Ji

0700 Hrs ETD from Harsil Helipad
0730 Hrs ETA at Sersi Heli-Base

Check out at 0600 hrs and depart from Harsil for Sersi. On arrival at Sersi, check-in at the hotel after breakfast at around 1000 hrs, board the shuttle for Kedarnath ji which is 07 mins flight from Sersi. The temple is at a walking distance from the helipad, on arrival proceed for holy Darshan of Kedarnath Temple. Estimated time taken is 2 Hrs for Darshan of Kedarnath Ji. Night stay at Kedarnath/Sersi.

Add-on excursion/sightseeing places: Triyuginarayan Temple – It is the venue of the celestial marriage of Lord Shiva & Goddess Parvati or Gaurikund.

‘Kedarnath Dham is one of the most pre-eminent holy places for worshipers of Shiva. Situated in a breath-taking location, near the source of Mandakini River. Kedarnath temple is highest among the 12 Jyotirlingas and is also the most important temple among the Panch Kedars (a group of 5 Shiva temples in Garhwal Himalayas).’’

Day 5

Badrinath Ji

0830 Hrs ETD from Sersi Heli-Base
0900 Hrs ETA at Badrinath Helipad

In the morning after breakfast check out from the hotel at around 0700 hrs and depart from Sersi helipad for Badrinath Dham at 0830 hrs. On arrival check-in at the hotel. Afternoon visits the shrine for Lord Badrinath Ji Darshan.

Add-on excursion/sightseeing places: Hot Spring at Badrinath temple, Mana Village / Evening Aarti at Badrinath.

Day 6

Dehradun Departure

0900 Hrs ETD from Badrinath Helipad
1000 Hrs ETA at Sahastradhara Helidrome

Attend the very auspicious ceremony of Maha Abhishek Pooja at 4:30 AM at the Badrinath Temple which held for 02 hrs (Optional – at additional cost). After breakfast depart from Badrinath at 0830 hrs for Shahastradhara Helipad. Later, they will be taken to Dehradun hotel to collect the luggage from cloakrooms, and then be dropped at airport/railway station for their departure.
