After breakfast, we drive to Janki Chatti, the base for the Yamunotri trek. Pilgrims can choose to walk or hire a pony or doli. After seeking blessings at Yamunotri Temple, we trek back to Janki Chatti and return to Barkot for an overnight stay.
We drive to Uttarkashi, a town known for its spiritual significance. After checking into the hotel, we visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple in the evening before resting for the night.
Early in the morning, we leave for Gangotri. Upon arrival, we take a holy dip in the Ganges and offer prayers at the temple. After darshan, we return to Uttarkashi for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, we start our journey toward Guptkashi. On arrival, we check into the hotel and relax for the evening.
We drive to Gaurikund, where the trek to Kedarnath begins. Pilgrims can trek on foot or hire ponies, horses, or dolis. After reaching Kedarnath, we visit the temple for darshan and stay overnight near the temple.
We wake up early to attend the morning aarti at Kedarnath Temple. After seeking blessings, we trek back to Gaurikund and drive to Guptkashi, where we check into the hotel and rest for the night.
After breakfast, we travel to Badrinath. On arrival, we check into the hotel and attend the evening aarti at Badrinath Temple before staying overnight.
We begin the day with darshan at Badrinath Temple, followed by an optional visit to Mana Village. Later, we drive to Rudraprayag, check into the hotel, and unwind for the night.
After breakfast, we drive back to Dehradun, stopping at Rishikesh to visit Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, and Triveni Ghat. The journey concludes in Dehradun, leaving you with cherished memories of this divine pilgrimage.

- Dehradun is the capital of Uttarakhand, equipped with modern amenities like airport, railway stations, and bus services. As a result, reaching here from anywhere is quite convenient.
- Every year, the doors of all Chardham temples are opened in May, making May-June the peak season. Alternatively, avoiding the monsoon, visiting between October and November is ideal. During peak winters, the temples are closed for darshan.
- Yes, registration is a must for all pilgrims. The Government of Uttarakhand has launched a portal for registering for the Chardham Yatra, on which you can register yourself. For pilgrims who have booked a travel operator, the operator will usually handle the registration process. There are also some offline centers, located around the main shrines.
- Absolutely, to acquire this permit you'll need to go through the Chardham Yatra registration process
- You will need to carry your government-issued identification proof (Aadhar Card, Voter ID, Driving License), yatra permit, and if required, a medical or health certificate.
