Itinerary (Day Wise)

The tour begins from Rishikesh with a scenic drive through Devprayag and Rudraprayag to reach Guptkashi or Sonprayag for an overnight stay. The next day, proceed to Gaurikund and begin the trek to Kedarnath, enjoying stunning mountain landscapes along the route. Upon reaching Kedarnath, visit the sacred Kedarnath Temple and experience the peaceful Himalayan atmosphere. After darshan, trek back to Gaurikund and return to Rishikesh with cherished memories of this spiritually uplifting journey.

Day 1

Dehradun/Rishikesh to Guptakashi

Start drive to Guptkashi. On arrival check in at the hotel for an overnight stay. The evening is free to visit the Vishwanath Temple.
"Vishwanath Temple-The divine Vishwanath temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Temple shares the same architecture as of Kedarnath temple. It is believed at this divine place Lord Shiva offered Goddess Parvati for marriage & at Trijuginarayan temple they got married."

Day 2

Guptakashi to Gaurikund (Drive), to Kedarnath (trek)

Start the drive at 0530 hrs sharp to Gaurikund. Sonprayag is the closest stop before Gaurikund at distance of 06 Kms. Private Vehicles are allowed only till Sonprayag. Hire the local vehicle from Sonprayag to Gaurikund. Upon arrival start the trek on the zigzag and well laid trail to Kedarnath or there are other options of pony or Doli available on rent. On arrival check-in at hotel, freshen up and visit Kedarnath Ji. Pay homage to divine statue of Nandi bull, located at the temple entrance gate. Attend the evening Arti and offer your prayers to Lord Shiva. You can also visit Adi Shankaracharya Samadhi, the grave of Adi Guru Shankaracharya, located at the premises of Kedarnath temple which is also one of the most popular spot at Kedarnath. After offering prayers get trek back to hotel for an overnight stay.
"Kedarnath Dham is one of the pre-eminent divine temple of Lord Shiva. Temple is situated in a breath-taking location, near the source of Mandakini River. Kedarnath temple is highest located among the 12 Jyotirlingas and is also the most important temple among the Panch Kedars (the group of five Shiva temples in Garhwal Himalayas)."

Day 3

Kedarnath stay (or one can go for nearby attractions like chaurbari glacier)

(One can also do Vasuki Tal trek on the same day – 14km)

Day 4

Trek back to Kedarnath and drive to Trijuginarayan temple. Night stay.

Day 5

Back to Dehradun and Rishikesh.
