After breakfast kicks off from Chandratal Base, pushing your 4×4 across a brutally rough ascent toward Kunzum Pass, a high-altitude gateway known for loose rocks, thin air, and terrain that shuts down completely in winter. After paying respect at the Kunzum Mata Temple, the trail opens into vast mountain valleys as you descend on a mix of broken and semi-paved roads toward the mighty Chicham Bridge, Asia’s highest bridge hanging over a 1,000-foot gorge. The expedition continues toward Kibber, navigating narrow mountain tracks with dramatic drop-offs and crisp Spiti winds before rolling into the iconic Key Monastery zone.
