The Valley of Flowers is a beautiful national park located in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand state in India. It is a part of the Nanda Devi Biosphere Reserve and is known for its vibrant alpine flowers that bloom during the summer season. The park is spread over an area of around 87.50 square kilometres and is situated at an altitude of around 3,658 meters above sea level.

The Valley of Flowers is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna, including several endangered and rare species. Some of the popular flowers that can be seen here include Himalayan blue poppy, Himalayan bellflower, Himalayan cobra lily, and Himalayan primrose. The park is also home to several species of birds, butterflies, and mammals, including the Asiatic black bear and the snow leopard. The park is open to visitors from June to October and can be reached by trekking from the nearby town of Govindghat. Visitors are required to obtain a permit from the Forest Department before entering the park. The Valley of Flowers was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2005.
