About The Package

Chardham of Uttarakhand includes the four sanctified shrines which are nestled in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand. The four shrines are Gangotri, Kedarnath & Badrinath. Chardham Yatra always starts from Yamunotri, and then Gangotri, next is Kedarnath and yatra ends at Badrinath. Chardham yatra has great significance for Hindu devotees, as per Hindu Mythology, it is believed that every Hindu should visit these shrines in order to get devoid of their sins & to attain salvation. Every year thousands of pilgrims come here to pay their obeisance.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 Haridwar- Uttarkashi (Drive- 190 Kms/07 Hr approx)
Early morning start drive to Uttarkashi. On arrival check-in at hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2 Uttarkashi - Gangotri (Drive - 100 Kms/04 hrs approx) Gangotri - Uttarkashi (Return drive- 100 K
In the morning after an early breakfast, drive towards Gangotri. Upon arrival, take a holy dip in the holy river Ganges, (also known as Bhagirathi). After offering prayers drive back to Uttarkashi. On arrival check-in at hotel for overnight stay.

‘’The holy Gangotri temple is located at this sacred town. It is believed that at this place River Ganges descended on the earth after severe penance of King Bhagirathi. The Gangotri Temple was built by the Gurkha general Amar Singh Thapa in early 18th century. The Ganges originates from Gaumakh which is accessible after 19 Kms trek from Gangotri. During winters temple remain inaccessible due to heavy snowfall so statue of Goddess Ganges is brought down to Mukhba, a small village in Harsil which lies on the way to the Gangotri Shrine.’’
Day 3 Uttarkashi - Guptkashi (Drive - 230 Kms/09 hrs approx)
After breakfast drive to Guptkashi. On arrival check in at the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 4 Guptkashi - Gaurikund (Drive - 30 Kms /45 mins approx) Gaurikund- Kedarnath (17 Kms trek- one wa
Start the drive at 0530 hrs sharp to Gaurikund. Upon arrival at Gaurikund, start the trek on the zigzag and well laid trail to Kedarnath or there are other options of pony or Doli available on rent. You can have meal at in-route stopover like Bheembali, Choti Limcholi, Badi Limcholi. On arrival, check into a hotel/Govt Tent (on direct payment basis). After freshen up & proceed for holy Darshan of Kedarnath Temple. At the holy shrine you can also visit the Adi Shankaracharya Samadhi which is located in the temple premises. After offering prayers return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

‘Kedarnath Dham is one of the pre-eminent divine temple of Lord Shiva. Temple is situated in a breath-taking location, near the source of Mandakini River. Kedarnath temple is highest located among the 12 Jyotirlingas and is also the most important temple among the Panch Kedars (group of five Shiva temples in Garhwal Himalayas).’’

Additional Info: Private vehicles are allowed only till Sonprayag which is 06 Kms before Gaurikund. For further drive from Sonprayag to Gaurikund, one has to hire the local taxi.

After offering prayers have breakfast and trek down to Gaurikund. After reaching Gaurikund drive towards Guptkashi and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5 Kedarnath-Guptkashi (Drive - 120 Kms/05 hrs approx.)
Today walk-up early in the morning & participate the arti at and abhishek at Kedarnath temple & take blessing from Kedarnath ji. Latter after breakfast trek down to Gaurikund follow by same way where you come from. On arrival Gaurikund Drive to Guptkashi and check into a hotel followed by dinner & overnight stay.
Day 6 Guptkashi - Badrinath (Drive - 85 Kms / 03 hr approx)
After breakfast drive to Badrinath. Upon arrival at Badrinath, check into a hotel. After freshen up and proceed for holy Darshan of Shri Badrinath ji. Take a holy dip in the Tapt Kund, followed by a visit to the main temple for Darshan to seek the blessings of Lord Vishnu. Optional: Visit to Mana Village. Evening attend the evening Arti of Badrinath ji. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7 Badrinath- Rudraprayag (Drive - 160 Kms/05 hr approx.)
After temple Darshan proceed drive to Mana Village, the last village before the Tibetan border, BheemPul, Byas Cave & Ganesha Cave. After visit start drive to Rudraprayag via Nandaprayag and Karnaprayag. On arrival, check-in at hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 8 Rudraprayag- Haridwar (Drive- 160 Kms/05 hr approx.)
In the morning after having breakfast drive towards Haridwar via Rishikesh. Once arrived at Rishikesh, visit the Ram Jhula, LaxmanJhula and ParmarthNiketan. After visit continue drive for further 20 km to reach Haridwar

Cancellations received 46 days (or more) of departure will incur a penalty of 10% per person.
Cancellations received within 45-31 days of departure will incur a penalty of 25% per person.
Cancellations received within 30 -15 days of departure will incur a penalty of 50% per person.
Cancellations received within 14 days of departure will incur a penalty of 100% per person.
