About The Package

The Dayara Bugyal Trek is an easy, doable trek during weekends for people to all age groups (Children above 12 years). Bugyal Trek is the highest altitude undulating meadows & enjoy the widespread imposing view of towering Himalayan peaks. The Dayara Bugyal Trek Distance is approx 20 km which starts from the Barsu village, goes through Barnala Tal, Dayra Bugyal, and came back via Bakaria Top. Can enjoy campsite in some of the finest & scenic locations in Dayar Bugyal. The Dayara Bugyal Winter Trek view is completely different from the summer trek view. In winters, the meadow is covered by white snow whereas in summers the meadow shows greenish in colour.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 Rishikesh/Haridwar to Barsu (190 kms, 7 hrs drive approx.)
Start early morning drive to Barsu via Rishikesh, Chamba & Uttarkashi. Barsu is the base camp for Dayara Bugyal trek & situated 45 km from Uttarkashi. Overnight stay at the Guesthouse.
Day 2 Barsu -Dayara Bugyal via Barnala Tal (Trek 9 Km, 7 hrs approx.)
After breakfast start trek to Dayara which gets through the Barnala Tal after an easy hike of 04 Kms from Barsu. The trail is bestowed with a stunning landscape dotted with a Himalayan forest of Rhododendron, Oak & Deodar. Trek 04 Kms beyond Barnala to reach Dayara. The entire trek is marked with undulating meadows. Dayara Bugyal is high altitude alpine meadow & also popular grazing ground for cattle particularly for sheep. The place also gives a 270-degree view of the Himalayan peaks i.e. Rudregaira, Gangotri I, II & III, Srikanth, Black peak, Bandarpoonch, and many other prominent peaks.
Day 3 Dayara Bugyal- Bakaria Top- Dayara Bugyal (Trek 04 Kms/03 hrs approx.)
Post breakfast commences the steep ascent to Bakaria Top, which is the highest point of the region. Dayara Buygal is extended over to huge areas & the trek to Bakaria top provides the huge opportunities to widely explore the enticing meadows. Enjoy the breathtaking view of Snow-capped mountains, rich landscapes & verdant valleys. Spend quality time & retrace to the campsite at Dayara Bugyal.
Day 4 Dayara Bugyal – Barnala – Barsu (Trek 09 Kms/04 hrs) Barsu – Haridwar (drive 220 Kms/07 hrs approx.)
Dayara Buygal is the best place to enjoy the sunrise. After early breakfast descent to Barsu via Barnala Tal. On arrival, you will drive to Haridwar.
